Edinburgh Little League All-Stars conclude 2014 season in style...
Edinburgh Little League's All-Star team concluded their play for 2014 with a fine win away against the Dalriada Demons on Sunday the 5th of October. A strong Edinburgh Line-up scored early and often on the hosts on the way to a 21-6 victory on a chilly (and at times wet!) day in Tollcross Park.
Notable performances were put in by Matthew Simpson who would take the win on the mound and mpv honours as voted by his peers, Douglas McDonald who launched a huge home run and Euan Gilkinson who had a hit in all three at-bats on the day. However, it was the solid team play that saw the Little Devils come out on top against a valiant Demons side who never quit.

Edinburgh Little League were proud to host the first Scottish Junior Baseball Series of 2014 on Sunday the 8th of June. The series saw three games played between the host Edinburgh Little Devils, the Dalriada Demons and the International School of Aberdeen in terrific spirit on a sunny day in the Capital.
The ISA team (2-0) won the series going undefeated in their two games whilst Dalriada (1-1) would defeat Edinburgh (0-2) in the opening game to secure second spot.
It was a terrific day's baseball and hopefully the first of many in the months ahead for the three clubs...
